Johnny Quest rules...that diorama doesn't.
With all of the substantive complaints I don't get how people say it doesn't look like Johnny Quest or that it somehow looks like the new JQ movies/New Adventures version....

No contest with that giant Pompadour.
Little known secret:
After Johnny Quest went off the air, Johnny, like many child actors, was typecast and had a difficult time finding work....
... he later took a gig in the comic strip "Bloom County" starring as "Binkley"

Johnny was not a martial arts expert, computer genious, looking to avenge and fight grown ups...
He was just a kid....that's the appeal
I suggest you watch the old series and the new series, they you should understand....

But here and other places people have stated Johnny (meaning the physical design of the character) looks nothing like the HB design and more like the late 80's tv movies or the New Adventures version which he obviously doesn't.Personally I am talking about the scene...is not related to the original Johnny series. B. Please don't condescend me. I am more then well acquainted with Johnny Quest. I already mentioned above how this is no different than depicting Fred Flinstone riding a chopper. Neither of them appeared that way on their respective shows thus they both stink as a result.
On a side note why do you think this looks more like the new show? At no time in the new show did Johnny ever appear at that age wearing a jet pack and weilding a knife at a half assed Pteranodon. Plus nothing there screams computer hacker expert martial arist attacking adults Johnny of the new show. It's even less related to the new version since Johnny is sculpted to look like the original version no matter that it isn't a direct scene from an episode. If that wheelchair bound villian from the new show was there I would agree....
I just don't think Johnny translates well into 3D.
His hair sure looks ridiculous.
CK, youre correct about it looking more like the older. I guess I was picturing it differently for some reason.
I'd rather have Hogie (sp) and Bandit anyway
I would prefer Race beating someone up....Or a Mummy or Zin or something more dynamic as well.
